The full hatch of the February Fed takes place during the very first months of early spirng in the rivers of Kuhmo. Even though the surrounding nature around the rivers is still covered with snow and ice, the nymphs start to crawl towards the river banks already in late March. The full hatch takes place in April in the calm pools and rapid areas which are located between frjozen lakes. These flowing waters and pools are open from ice even in the minus degrees.

In the hotel you’ll find the Fishermen’s Lounge with information about the rapids in the area as well as local flies. There is a drying room for your fishing gear and a fly tying desk in the facilities.
